Dobermanns
Owned
since 1967, trained and exhibited both obedience, working trials &
show ring since 1977. Competed to Test A standard in obedience open competition,
CD/UD open working trials during early ‘80’s and consistently exhibited
at all levels in the beauty ring. Also handled for other breeder/owners.
Bred first litter 1980. Became a member of the Midland Dobermann Club
in 1977. Served for 10 years in various roles including club Secretary.
Also secretary of the MDC working sub-committee from 1980 – 1992 and now
Training Co-ordinator providing weekly training classes on behalf of the
club to promote responsible dog ownership based on The Kennel Club Good
Citizen Scheme. These classes are primarily for dobermann owners but have
always incorporated a percentage of other breeds as well.
Rottweilers
Owned
between 1980 & 89. Exhibited during most of this time with consistent
success at Championship shows & Crufts as well as club obedience.
Bred first litter 1982. Fourth litter produced the first Portuguese Ch.
Kardel the Enforcer (2CACIB).
Akitas

First show dog 1986 campaigned very successfully winning Best of Sex at
Championship shows and breed club shows before CC’s were allocated. Always
placed at Crufts. Handled several Akitas for other people with similar
results over the years. Bred first litter 1998. Produced five litters
(total of 17 progeny) to date out of which have come CC & Rcc winners,
plus three more Stud book entries so far.
