Dragonk9, has set up a Breeding program, so that we can continue to supply existing and new clients with top quality stock.
Previously we have bred German Shepherds and German Pointers, under the "Rafpol" affix. We have now been granted a new kennel affix "Dragonswood"
We have a policy of not breeding from stock unless we believe it can do the job. We also understand that it is common sense to use a quality proven 'Sire", but the most important part of the equation is the " DAM ". She must be strong in character, etc. To produce top quality males. Therefore we use some bitches for "Operational" work as well as Breeding Stock.
We are striving to breed quality working stock that is just as happy sitting at home with the kids in front of the fire, working a Scottish moor for grouse, or an Iraqi settlement for arms & explosives.
The first 12 weeks of a pups life are crucial. Our Pups Are Raised In A Home Environment, Ensuring That They Hear Plenty Of Kitchen Noise Etc. Before Their Eyes Open, Also Children Are Encouraged To Get "Hands On" Experience With The Pups at a very early age. They Are Carefully Graded As To Their Suitability As Search Potential Dogs..... At Present Approximately 90% Of Pups Are Graded "Work Only".
