We have 18 years experience in training problem dogs and
their handlers; we believe we are the best local option for your problem.
The majority of our training sessions are carried out on a one 2 one basis
either at our establishment or at the family home. Our case-notes show
this first visit is sufficient for 50% of our clients, 30% have initial
follow-up and finally 20% of clients have the full three visits.
For the more difficult / stubborn of problems we offer residential
training, some families prefer to send the dog in for residential than
have one 2 one, (during planned holidays etc). Initial training is carried
out at our establishment quickly progressing to other areas near us. This
is to ensure the dog is trained and educated in a variety of surroundings
and environments, with as many distractions as possible.
This course covers a 4-week period. On completion of the 4 weeks training
we then carry out approximately 2 weeks of one 2 one to ensure the family
are trained to the same standard as the dog. Courses run on a monthly
basis, starting on the first weekend of each month.
Residential training for handlers and dogs is available
for weekly and fortnightly courses. Again the initial training is carried
out here at the dogschool then we quickly progress to areas away from
the school. If 2 or 3 people are on a course together then some days are
spent around the beautiful Gower coast. (see gallery)
